Our candles and lotion bars are made out of natural soy wax, which has many benefits over paraffin candles, such as helps American farmers, has a slow burn time and easy clean up with soap and warm water. The natural palm wax in our melts is made out of oil from a palm tree and crystallizes for a beautiful product. We are committed to continual testing and buying only the best colorants, fragrance oils and cotton, lead free wicks. We also max out the fragrance, which is at least double, and even as much as triple, as what most candle makers use. Try them once and your house will soon be filled with "Pure Soy!"

Candle Burning Tips

When burning your candle, burn it 2 – 3 hours, long enough for the wax to melt to the edge of the container. This sets the "memory" for the pool size. If you extinguish too soon, then it may only burn down from the previous pool size.

To extinguish the flame, use a wick dipper or uncoated wire to push the burning wick into the melted wax and then pull the wick back up again. You'll notice that this doesn't cause any smoke as it extinguishes immediately, and it also coats the wick with wax, making the next lighting much easier.

Before re-lighting, use a wick trimmer or toenail clippers to trim the wick to 1/4". A cotton wick can smoke if the wick is too long, and will also shorten the number of hours of burn time.
